I see you departing
You didn’t know you were leaving
But I saw you going long before
Into the centuries you step unknowing
As I turn back to memory
Your growing distance brings me nearing
To where I came from
You carry me forward as rearward referencing
I return
For lo, in you I will live evering on yet
In your leaving is the beginning of my end.
